Scope
This policy covers the Awesonix website, account services, licensing services, support communication, and Awesonix software. We collect only what is needed to operate the storefront, provide licensed access, protect the service, and respond when you contact us.
Website Data
The website may process account details you submit, session and cart data, contact or support messages, login attempt metadata, purchase records, entitlements, downloads, and security logs. This data is used to authenticate your account, process purchases, grant access, answer requests, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable.
Software And Licensing
Awesonix software does not collect telemetry, usage analytics, behavioral tracking data, DAW activity, plugin settings, project content, audio content, or automatic crash reports. We believe software should stay quiet unless you ask it to communicate. If you find a bug, we trust you to report it voluntarily instead of monitoring how you use the product.
Activation Data
For licensed software, we may process the data required to activate and manage a license: email address when provided, purchase or license information, activation status, operating system, hardware ID, and normal network metadata such as IP address. This is used only to provide activation, prevent unauthorized use, and support licensing requests.
Third Parties
We do not sell or monetize personal data. Data may be handled by payment providers, authorized marketplaces, hosting providers, or infrastructure providers only where necessary to process purchases, operate licensing services, or provide support. Third-party marketplaces may also apply their own privacy policies.
Storage And Protection
Sensitive account profile fields are stored with encryption at rest where supported. Passwords are stored as secure hashes and are never retained in plaintext. Security logs may be recorded to detect abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access attempts.
Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed to maintain accounts and licenses, comply with legal obligations, resolve support requests, protect the service, and keep purchase or entitlement records accurate.
Your Rights
Where applicable, including under the EU GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Privacy Requests
For account, licensing, support, or software privacy questions, use the Contact page and include enough detail for us to identify and respond to your request.
